The Americas Quarterly just published a review of the book The Great Gap: Inequality and the Politics of Redistribution in Latin America, in which Adriana Portugal (Tribunal de Contas do Distrito Federal), Sergio Sakurai (FEA-USP/Ribeirão Preto) and myself have a chapter.

The book analyses the delicate balance between politics and inequality in Latin America. The Americas Quarterly is published by Americas Society and the Council of the Americas.

Fernando Meneguin (Brazilian Federal Senate) and I were just awarded the Robert D. Cooter  ALACDE Award for Scholarship in Law and Economics. The award was announced during the 2012 ALACDE meeting in Peru and was handed to Fernando by prof. Cooter himself!
