The research “Aplicações da Lei Newcomb-Benford às Planilhas de Obras Públicas” co-authored with Flávia Ceccato was awarded a Honorary Mention at the 7th Secretary of the Federal Budget Award.

The article “Lei de Benford e Auditoria de Obras Públicas: Uma Análise de Sobrepreço na Reforma do Maracanã” has been published in Revista do TCU.

“The Federal Court of Accounts of Brazil (Tribunal de Contas da União – TCU) audits the accounts of administrators and other persons responsible for federal public funds, assets, and other valuables, as well as the accounts of any person who may cause loss, misapplication, or other irregularities that may cause losses to the public treasury. Such administrative and judicative authority, among others, is provisioned in art. 71 of the Brazilian Constitution. “

The award-winning research “On the Institutional Incentives Faced by Brazilian Civil Servants” co-authored with Fernando Meneguin has been published in Latin American Studies-LA Ronshu.

The award winning research “Problemas de Seleção Adversa e Perigo Moral nos Procedimentos de Apuração de Descumprimento de Obrigações na Anatel: identificação teórica, evidência estatística e um mecanismo para a sua superação”, on the problems of adverse selection and moral hazard in telecom regulation in Brazil, co-authored with Nathalia A. de Souza, has been published as a book chapter in 2014.
